Bay Area Festivals is pleased to announce our 2nd annual FREE Bay Area Kids' Book Fair on the Oct. 14-15, 2017 weekend. Our Silicon Valley fair is on Saturday, Oct. 14, in Sunnyvale and in the East Bay on Sunday, Oct. 15, in Lafayette.
Event Details
Both events are open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. with free admission and free parking.
Our inaugural Kids' Book Fairs in 2016 were a huge success. The Bay Area has a rich history of writers, illustrators, world-renowned educational institutions and innovative technological advances, all of which will be featured at the fair.
We will have storytelling all day and other free activities for attendees.
We will have all-time favorite characters from books and movies to meet and greet including Pete the Cat, Clifford the Big Red Dog, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Curious George.
The first 200 families will get a free goody bag. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to the Food Bank. They will receive a free raffle ticket for each donated can. Admission and parking each day is free to the general public.
